The Joyce Theater: Compensation Research

The Joyce Theater engaged Joe Kluger of WolfBrown to provide an analysis of the compensation and benefits plan for its Executive Director and other members of the senior management team, benchmarked against comparable organizations in New York City and elsewhere in the US. 

The Joyce’s purpose in this project was to undertake an objective process to ensure that the salary and benefits provided to its key professional leaders were sufficient to retain the talent necessary to deliver on the organization’s public mission—and remain prudent and reasonable—so that it could fulfill its obligation as a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving public resources and complying with IRS regulations.
