Sarasota Opera: Strategic Plan

Sarasota Opera engaged Joe Kluger of WolfBrown to facilitate its strategic planning process. It resulted in refinements to the organization’s mission and values and established a set of overarching goals and objectives, strategic priorities, and multi-year financial projections. 

The critical success factors for the plan included:

  • Motivating audience members to return to the Opera House post-COVID by building audience interest in a new Exploration Series of innovative opera productions, while also increasing audience demand for the traditional Classics Series operas
  • Identifying resources to support expanded education and community engagement activities.
  • Increasing revenues from ancillary businesses and new and existing donors.
