WolfBrown’s Senior Consultant for Creative Opportunities, Kathleen Hill, will present at the upcoming TYA/USA Festival & Conference in Bethesda, Maryland.
Her session, “Behind the Scenes of Óyeme: Implementation and Impact of Theatre Workshops for Immigrant Youth,” will take place on Thursday, May 8, from 9:00–10:15 AM in Studio 4 at Imagination Stage as part of Breakout Session Block 2.
During the 2023–2024 school year, Imagination Stage partnered with WolfBrown to enhance its data collection strategies through a consent-based evaluation model. Rooted in stakeholder feedback, this approach supports both programmatic and reporting needs while honoring the experiences of newcomer communities. The session will explore how this co-developed evaluation process helps create a trauma-informed program where students become active partners in their own learning journey.
Kathleen will be joined by Hilda Lee Tijerina and Sami Topping of Imagination Stage.
