Ever wonder whether your organization should have a planned giving program? Maybe you decided that the whole subject is so mysterious and complicated that you just weren’t going to think about it. Or perhaps you heard that planned (or deferred) gifts are the primary source of funding for endowments, and you realized you better learn more about them. Well….here is your chance.
Tom Wolf is offering a short, one-hour online introduction to planned giving that can get you started. Tom will explain what planned giving is, how it works, and the considerable advantages for certain kinds of donors. He will describe various vehicles of planned giving (including different kinds of trusts), the important emphasis on irrevocable gifts, and the steps you need to take to set up planned giving program. The session size will be limited (no more than two from any organization), which will allow people to get questions answered.
This session is free as a special service of WolfBrown to the field.
