CLIENT CASE STUDIES
Internews Network is a Northern California-based nonprofit that operates internationally to develop open and independent media operations around the world. With funding largely from US government sources, as well as some private foundations, Internews has established training programs, television and radio stations, broadcast networks, media law centers, media associations, and Internet policy groups in 23 countries. Internews sought the assistance of WolfBrown to help shape a major organizational initiative in media policy and to recommend strategies to diversify funding and develop the organization’s board. WolfBrown consulted broadly through Internews’ operations, in the fields of media and media policy, the funding community, and international non-governmental organizations resulting in a detailed analysis of Internews and its options. Intensive work with Internews staff and board led to a final plan and funding proposal.
