Music and Arts Center for Humanity Bridgeport, Connecticut
In connection with its long-term facility development plans, the Music and Arts Center for Humanity (MACH) in Bridgeport, Connecticut contracted with WolfBrown to conduct an assessment of the institution's readiness to undertake a major facility development project. MACH offers a wide range of arts education opportunities to urban youth and adults. Twenty one interviews were conducted with board members, staff members, and community stakeholders, the product of which was a memorandum report with key themes and observations. Then, a task force of board members worked with the consultant to review a series of facility and other operating recommendations with the goal of stabilizing the institution, rationalizing its programs and moving towards a more sustainable revenue model.
