Northern Clay Center
The Northern Clay Center engaged WolfBrown consultants to facilitate and document a retreat of the Center’s Board of Directors. The purpose: to consider what has spurred the growth and maturation of the Center's in its first 20 years; to identify trends suggestive of future challenges and opportunities; and to pose essential questions that its new strategic plan must answer about continued growth. Should the Center see growth as widening its reach and expanding its metrics, for example? Should it focus instead on enriching the experiences of those with whom it is already involved? Or should it concentrate on building its authority as a “Mecca” for the field of ceramic arts, with its finger always on the pulse of what is happening?
